    Validation Error.

Almost everything i open gives me a random 'validation error'. Some where else said it was because i'm using a debug version of Windows 7 Enterprise. If that is the case, is there any way to turn off these pop ups or take it out of debug mode?

In order to completely troubleshoot Windows validation & activation issues, please perform the following:

Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions

    1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

    2. Run the tool, and then click 'Copy' - ignore any errors if they appear

    3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the validation tool here in your next reply

    Regards,
    Golden

You need to ensure that this update is installed:
Description of the update for Windows Activation Technologies

Install it, reboot, and then create a new MGADIAG report and post it in your next reply.

Where did you obtain your Windows installation from?

Windows Update says i'm fully up to date. That's the first thing i tried, is updating. I got it from my school's DreamSpark store. So digitally i guess.

    Hi,

Please double check to see that that KB is installed, by checking in your Update History.

I tried downloading that update manually, says it is not applicable to my computer. Also, i have no update history, since this OS is a fresh install.

    Hi,

Can you confirm that you tried the x64 update?

Mmm. OK, I'm a bit stumped, I've never heard of a fresh installation where Windows Updates reports that it is already up-to-date. Perhaps its something specific to how your school deployed this volume license. I'll ask Noel (our resident activation expert) to have a look at this for you when he logs on.
