Thanks for your replies.
It was working fine for a year though and just a couple of weeks ago i think an update came through and messed things up.
Is there any way i can uninstall the update that caused this warning so i can continue to use Windows normally? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Toshiba Satellite L505-144 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

No.
You will have to purchase a genuine copy from a reputable dealer (or direct from MS - follow the links for that).
You almost certainly do not need Ultimate edition - so you could save cash by reinstalling the original OS that came with the machine using the manufacturer's Recovery media. If you don't have access to the Recovery partition, and neglected to make the backup disks, you can purchase the media direct from teh manufacturer for a reasonable proce. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number Asus K52F OS Win 7 x64 Home Premium (and x86 VirtualBox VM) CPU i3 370M Motherboard Asus Memory 8GB - finally :) Graphics Card it's an i3, dude! Sound Card onboard Monitor(s) Displays 15.6" built-in Screen Resolution 1366x768 PSU n/a Hard Drives 750GB Seagate internal
Sundry external drives attached to other computers on the local network Internet Speed as much as I can get - usually on a dongle, so <1Mb/s Antivirus MSE Browser IE10/Chrome/FF(if I must) |
