Ok I found CheckSur in C/Windows. So obviously something happened with that. Oh that says it was installed on the 3rd, not today. ...
Run the tool again and then post the new CheckSUR log, and the CheckSUR.persist.log files

The CheckSur files are all cab files. There isn't an application in there.

I have malwarebytes running. That takes a couple of hours also. I guess that's ok. My frustration is rising to a dangerous level lol .. I need a break. I'm sure you need a break from me also.

I didn't right click on the command prompt before, so I did it that way and pasted the command that you wanted me to. It told me again that access was denied and then it gave me a C\windows\system32 prompt.

Yontoo will not uninstall. I click to uninstall and it tells me that it made the changes. Period. That's all it does over and over. Woo... >.< I'm ... well didn't expect that I'd use all Friday and Saturday to try to fix freakin' updates. Then to run into new problems along the way (my fault, not yours, I'm messing with stuff on the side!) ..

I just saw you wanted me to run malwarebytes after removing yontoo. Since I can't remove it, I'll forget the break and wait to hear from you. Thanks

In that case you're looking in the wrong place - the log files are at
    C:\Windows\logs\CBS\......

...run Malwarebytes anyhow - it should get rid of Yontoo, I think.

I downloaded "Toolbar cleaner". Yontoo and the other thing I mentioned are gone. After the program took care of them I was able to uninstall them in programs and features. I've started malwarebytes.

Ok I attached, what I hope, is what you wanted lol

The first run did a fair amount of work - the second run just confirmed that everything was now fixed.

Please run an SFC /SCANNOW, and post the full CBS.log file

I did that scan and got a message "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations".

OK - it seems the system files are OK then.

Please run malwarebytes - report the summary findings, and delete everything it finds.
