There are thousands of different reasons why a system may show as non-genuine - many take 5 minutes to fix.
Some few just cannot be fixed without a repair install.
Fewer still require a clean install.

    Oh, Lordie!
    Norton 360??
It does nasty things to file permissions - which is possibly why you have 40 times as many read-only files as you should have.

    Lets try this anyhow

    Open Windows Explorer (Computer)
    Navigate to the C:\Windows folder
Find the System32 sub-folder and right-click on it
    select Properties

Clear the 'blob' from the 'Read-only (Only applies to files in folder)' box by clicking on it until it's plain white.
    Click on Apply.

Make sure that the radio button for 'Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files' is set, and click OK.

Accept the Administrator prompt. After a couple of seconds, you'll be told there is an error - click on the 'Ignore all' button.

Wait for it to finish - it could take a couple of minutes.

OK out, and exit Windows Explorer.

    Reboot twice

    Post a new MGADiag report.

Hey - we did something right!! :)

What happens if you now attempt validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate ??
Assuming it passes, you probably simply need to attempt activation

    Click on the Start button
    in the Search box, type
    SLUI.EXE
    and hit the Enter key

    Follow the instructions.

You may need to activate by phone - in which case use the command

    SLUI 4

    instead.

That's brilliant, you have repaired it. It validated easily on SLUI.EXE and now it is checking for updates.
Thank you, I have learn't many lessons from this, the foremost being the aggressive use of registry cleaners, a no no.
