I have Genuine Windows but Validation Tool does not work

Hi guys....I have been driving myself crazy the last few days trying to figure some things out,my computer is brand new but I can't get the Validation Tool to work. It gives me the window to check my clock and that the tool is no longer supported. I have an Acer Aspire M3470G Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I am having a lot of errors but the Windows trouble shooter says everything is fine.....SO confused. I do know a little about computers and am willing to learn. Please help me figure this out. Thanks!!

I see someone reported this as spam...I sent word it is not spam I am sorry if you already answered someone elses post. I had to go get the MGADIAG but I guess it won't matter now that I have been reported. Not everyone is as smart as you computer folk.

Why did you attach the executable, rather than the report??

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
    - **in your own thread**, please
Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
    How to Tell

I suspect that your problem is because you are using any other browser than Internet Explorer 32-bit to access the download pages - MS recently broke the ability for any other browser to access validation.

Tut tut - I wonder what the EU will have to say about that when it comes to their attention.

The EU should mind their own damn business instead of trying to tell Microsoft what to do with their property.

I think you've got your wires crossed on that one as the only report we received about your post was from you complaining that somebody had reported it as spam (which you would never be able to tell anyway).

Shall I explain why that is.

Any company that has a dominant position in one field must not use that to give themselves an unfair advantage in another field.

Neither must they use it to tie in with another company in some kind of unholy alliance.

    Example:

Let's pretend over 90% of people have Ford cars.

[There isn't anything else except a tractor - not practical , or a Ferrari -you can only get one of those if you have a lot of money.]

Now let's say Ford owns, or buys, or ties in with Shell Oil - then Ford make it so that their cars can only run on Shell petrol.

The other oil distribution companies collapse, and smaller ecological entries can't even get started.

Shell is then the only oil product distributor.

That would be a very very bad thing.

( No offence to Ford or Shell - I am sure neither of them would do that )
