Can I make a clean OEM install after changing my hardware

I have Dell studio 1558 with windows 7 home premium, my hard disk is failing and it has bad sectors that cannot be repaired by any kind of software as shown in the pictures attached,, I have ordered a new HDD and going to install windows 7 back by downloading the latest official Win7 installer ISO with SP1 . Can I make a clean OEM install of my windows 7 profession home as I still have the COA(certificate of authentication),and will it be successful as my hardware is changed (HDD is changed)

Download win7 home premium in your language (is it available on Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life)?

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1-U ISO
    English x86: X17-58996.iso
    English x64: X17-58997.iso

Burn the right ISO to DVD and install from that DVD. Use key that's on COA-sticker. Installing/moving to another disk doesn't give you any problems (win7 stays genuine)

What's the size of the ISO? No files on DVD... check it in another system.
How did you burn it btw?

What do you want to be the new parition layout on new disk? Only 1 big partition, or C=200GB and D=remaining (for DATA). this is just a sample

    Clean Install Windows 7
that is the answer to question 2.

    Question 1: is ISO 3,09GB?
With what software do you burn it? Burn it again with new DVD... throw away the damaged one

You can make a partition of perhaps 80 to 100 GB for Windows and applications and another of 400 to 420 GB for data---or you can make one big partition covering the entire 500 GB and put data, Windows, and applications on it. It's just a matter of personal preference.

You don't have to specifically format the Windows partition---that will be done as part of the installation process.

I'd re-download and re-burn that ISO, probably using ImgBurn:

it's not a zip file it's an ISO!!
rightclick on it->open with->burn disc image
Burn ISO Images Natively in Windows 7

question 2: Do you have much large programs and very large games? Making more partitions is better because:
    • you can backup partitions seperately
    • you can reinstall win7 later and let your data partition as it was
