    I generally choose to avoid most .NET Framework updates unless they address a specific problem I am experiencing; I hide and ignore all the others. .NET Framework updates can be problematic.
    This is strictly my personal choice and others may disagree.

    You can do your own research, but the following site provides some information on the KB2487367 update;

    Hi,

    I suggest you to run the fixit from the following article and check for the updates.

    I had the exact same problem and have tried everything and nothing helped, until I found and run this tool to repair the .NetFramework:
    .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

    After the repair I run Windows Update, the first time it found one update for .Net and the second time it found nine updates including those five that didn't install before. But this time every thing worked perfect and I have no more problems with Windows Update.

    Still causing problems

    I've also had this problem, starting this month (May 2013). 5 .NET update files, KB 2487367, 2656351, 2468871, 2533523, 2600217 - dated 2011/12, suddenly appeared and repeated as updates no matter how many times I updated. I tried a lot of the suggestions going the rounds (MrFixit, dotnetfx_cleanup_tool, sfc /scannow and so on). None of them worked. In the end I cleared it by uninstalling .NET completely and reinstalling. This produced a list of 12 update files (including the 5 above) but this time they all installed and cleared.
    So it looks like I had some corrupt files and now it's fixed - until the next time .
