TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE(0x800b0100) windows 7 sp1 install failed

I have been receiving this error message every time I attempt to install new updates. I randomly get the 8024200D error code as well. I have ran the SFC /SCANNOW command and there were no files found during the scan. I have disabled my firewall and anti virus and tried installing the updates. I have manually downloaded the updates as well both from the current machine and from a different machine and every time the update fails. I have finally been able to install the windows update readiness tool but it did not correct any errors. Attached is the latest checkSUR log file. it appears I am still having issues with 9 files. thank you in advance for all your help and support

Hello thesolo,

Unfortunately, you have a very rare error and it's one of the errors that requires very advanced knowledge of the structure of the components hive to be able to fix - something which I don't have, yet.

A repair install should fix this: Repair Install
