    OK - let's go from the other end....
    We'll ignore the VSS problem for the moment, and try the repair to the registry again....

    Open Regedit
    Navigate to
    HKCR\TypeLib\{565783C6-CB41-11D1-8B02-00600806D9B6}

    Right-click on the Key in the left pane, and select Permissions
    Click on the Advanced button
    Click on the Owner tab
    Highlight Administrators, and put a tick in the 'Replace owner on...' box
    Click Apply
    (Current Owner should change to Administrators)
    Click OK - ONCE
    Click on the Permissions tab
    In the Permission entries box, highlight Administrators
    click Edit
    put a tick in the Allow /Full Control box (all the other Allow boxes should automatically be ticked)
    put a tick in the 'Apply these permissions....' box
    Click OK out to Regedit
    Close Regedit
    Open an Elevated Command Prompt
    run the following command

    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\regtlibv12.exe C:\Windows\system32\wbem\wbemdisp.tlb

    Close the Command prompt if successful - otherwise post the results.
    Open Notepad
    copy and paste the following into the Notepad window, and save to the desktop as TEST.VBS

    Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:\\.\root\cimv2")
    Set colComputers = objWMIService.ExecQuery("Select * from Win32_ComputerSystem")
    wscript.echo "Test Passed"

    now double-click on the new file - you should get a small popup window saying 'Test Passed'
    If you get anything else, copy and paste the message to your reply.

    Now reboot and run a new MGADiag report and post the results.

Suddenly windows 7 says not genuine

i have been using windows 7 for about a year now and when i started my computer this morning i popped up with a screen saying that i need to activate my window, and now it keep saying that. i have tried to restart and other thing but nothing seems to work
