    No yea, I do have the same problem as the first guy, I tried the CMD prompts and all the net services wouldn't start. So please, if you could help, it would be much appreciated. It happened after I ran a fake codec installer program, and haven't been able to get it update ever since.

    Hi NoelDP. The info in your link has expired. I am having the same problem described above. I've turned the service on, rebooted, and still the error comes back that the service is not running. Thanks in advance for your help.
