Windows 7 Professional x64, trying to upgrade to SP1 Error 0x8007370b
Hello all,
Over the last year or so I haven't been using my PC at all really. It's only used to watch films on of a night, and as a result of this it's not really been looked after in the way of updates etc. However I am wanting to upgrade my OS to the latest version on Windows 7 (x64) which I believe to be SP1.
It's important that I mention for a while my machine has been unable to do any update successfully. It usually says that it's doing the update but just hangs there for hours and doesn't actually do anything or just fails straight from the off.
I have tried to do the updates which it is saying I should do (x2 important and x1 optional) for which I have attached the screen shots for due to the reasons mentioned above. I have also followed the instructions for 'Windows Update Posting Instructions' although it failed on that too.
I've completed step 1 successfully, but it failed on step 2 (see screen shot) and Step 3 I've already mentioned above so there's another screen shot for that and Step 4 I've attached my log in zipped format. I have honestly tried my best to get this working but I just can't seem to get anywhere. Just a few points to make my copy of Windows 7 Pro is legitimate and my PC is a custom build from a few years back which I can give you the spec for if required.
Any help is very much appreciated at this stage. Thanks in advance Craig.
