Great! - the hivelist has rebuilt itself

Now test Windows Update (<crosses fingers>)

the update was succesfull but it didn't update the KB 2667402

Great - one down, at least

Please do a manual check for updates - see what comes up.
UNcheck everything except KB 2667402 (if it still shows - it may not)
and see what happens.
post the error message if you get one.

't seem to work I hope I did the right manual update or can you tell me the steps

There is on;ly one way in Windows 7
Open Window Update
Click on 'Check for updates' in the top left corner, and wait for the checker to do its thing
Then you can either choose which updates (not) to install, or just click on Install. (if there are any found)

ok I did the only way that it can be done and there is only the KB 2667402 update awailable and it doesn work it gives me the code 80004005 error

Please try uninstalling it again. - what eact error do you get this time?

error some of the updates weren't succesfully removed this is getting anoying
