Probably that his key is not genuine since he attempted to activate several times in a short period of time. He possibly needs to call Microsoft to activate his windows 64 bit.

That is not a non-genuine condition -please get the terminology right :)

I am not prepared to advise further, until the OP confirms that his original install has been reformatted or otherwise permanently disabled.

Like I said because he had attempted to activate a windows 7 key multiple times on separate installs, they probably deactivated his key. Since he doesn't tell us what error it was I am assuming this is the issue. I did this myself once, and a quick call to Microsoft Support will fix this if this is truly the issue.

this kind of repley i didnt expect..
win 7 pro 32 bit came with my r400 is activated
hope you can confirm with screenshot taken minutes before submitting reply

i'm not ready to format my win 7 pro 32bit to install 64bit because if error occurs like now i will loose an genuine copy..(as this win 7 came preinstalled when i bought this laptop , & that usless seller never included source dvd or responding to my emails, so i dont have any details to provide Microsoft support when i format my existing activated 32 bit version...)
if some one helps me to sole this issue before evaluation period of 64 bit , i will try my best to follow your advice to activate.. or else i just stick to 32 bit for time being & install ubuntu or some other linux on that 64bit partition ..

You can continue to use the 64-bit install - but it will cause problems later if you activate now and then reinstall, as the clean install will see an apparently different machine, and flag it as non-genuine - and teh MS operators may not allow the actiavtion as a result.
You have 30 days to decide what to do (well- about 26 now), and can rearm the system for another 30 days after that
If that's not enough time to come to a decision, I don't know what is.
