Enable logging as described here How to Enable Microsoft Installer logging and Verbose logging to gather additional troubleshooting Information
After that install updates again. Preferable only 1! After that:
post windowsupdate.log located in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
Also post files starting with msi located in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp
Only files created the last hour of course.
You may disable logging afterwards (described in same article)

The right "fixits" utility didn't support Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit this is what the message told meDid you run the fixit on that page? there are 2 fixtits on that page.... one to enable
Try the attachment. One to disable, one to enable. Reboot is not needed.
I didn't try the fixits... I did it manually, and it works!
I tried your .reg file and still I couldn't see windowsupdate.log has been created!!!
