Need help/more info in regards to mounted folders
In short, here's my desperate situation:
I'm trying to install some Windows updates including Windows 7 Service Pack 1, but it keeps telling me there's not enough disk space.
I have two main main questions:
1. Can the extra space offered by mounted folders be recognized by installers? (so to avoid 'not enough disk space' situations)
2. Can I *cut* files/folders from C:\ to the mounted folder and expect my system to work normally? As my understanding is that all mounted folders lead to C:\.
Furthermore, I do assume all further updates will be installed in the mounted folder? (I use 3rd party programs for updates).
*End note
I've scanned my drives a few times using every cleanup tool offered by the Windows, 360 Safe Guard and System Mechanic, as well as deleting what I reasonably could so I believe there's nothing more space I can reclaim.
On a side note, every cleanup attempt seems to have resulted in slightly less space then before.
