Windows 7 Build 7601 Not Genuine?

I just got the "Windows 7 Build 7601" message. Like others, my screen is black with the exception of the shortcut icons. But, I can still access programs, not sure for how long, though. The PC was purchased within last 12 months from Best Buy. The motherboard recently went out and they repaired it but I had to reinstall all the software, other than the OS.

As recommended I ran the diagnostic and these are the results:

As I suspected would be the case, the problem is with the SLIC table in the BIOS - it looks as if the flash they attempted failed, with the result that the SLIC Table is corrupted.

You need to change the Product Key to the one on your COA sticker (on the machine's case, or inside the battery compartment), and activate that.
Use the Change Product Key link to be found at the bottom of the System properties page, and follow the instructions.

That looks fine now - you may want to double-check by validating at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate
When it passes, you'll be offered IE9 and MSE - you don't have to take them!
