I don't believe you have posted the information (log) requested by Noel in post #27. MGADiag. Please read post #27 again and comply. It just might give a wake up call to Tom and Noel.

Not quite, Bear - that request of mine was directed at the 'interloper' rather than BazzBro :)

Tom's not been well the past couple of weeks, and he's the expert on this type of error.
I do know that he will ask for a new copy of the data requested in post #23 just in case anything has changed.

So sorry for the delay. The past few weeks have been so, so busy and sometimes threads fall between the cracks.

I'm going out until about 5.30 in a bit, so I'll have to post when I get back.

Thanks Jack! I'm on the mend now but still feel pretty bad.

@BazzBro, I have finally got round to manually hashing all 78 of your files and comparing them to mine. The good news is that the MD5, SHA1 and SHA256 hashes are the same (they're identical, no question about it), but the bad news is that it means the problem lies elsewhere.

As it has been a while since we have seen logs from your computer, would you mind following these instructions please:

    Hi BazzBro,

Just posting them here is great, sorry for the confusion. I've tried all of the fixes I know for 80007005 and none of them have worked so I fell back to plan b which was analysing the CBS log for apparent issues but there's nothing in there of concern so I can't think of any way forward from here apart from sending you off to MS Support as Noel suggested a few pages back:
