Well.. unfortunately that tool didn't work. Back to point A with SP1, with that 800B0100 error.
    :/
    On a better note;
Before I even installed that tool my computer decided to randomly bypass my authority and install all the other updates that had been stuck behind SP1 so at the moment everything else is up to date.

    Hello abusedkitten,

The tool itself isn't brilliant at fixing problems, but what it is good at, is for diagnostic purposes as it has a very informative log. Could you post this log please?

    C:\Windows\Logs\CheckSUR.persist.log

:) I was looking for those logs all over and couldn't find them.... Then realized I was on my desktop and not my laptop...
    Don't judge me..

Posting logs in a moment. :)

Ahh, much better. :) However I'm not finding anything that is specifically C:\windows\logs\checksur.persist.log

Would is also be in the CBS folder?

I'll post the one from the CBS folder.

Haha, glad you managed to find them in the end.

Sorry, my mistake, I told you the wrong file path It is indeed in the CBS folder, thanks for the log. Unfortunately, your log is indicating that the SURT found no errors, and there are. Could you post your CBS log please:

    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

It's the right folder this time!

    Hello abusedkitten,

I can't see any apparent issues with your CBS log, so I think the best way forward is for you to do a repair install:

    Repair Install

Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.
