| Windows 7 Ultimate 35 posts | KB2724197 Keeps Installing, No New Updates Since KB2724197 - a 15KB update - constantly pops up as a new update on my Windows Update, despite having been installed several times. I have had no new updates now for some weeks, only this 15kb one shows up. I have downloaded the standalone version and used that, and tried to install it without my AV software running, but it still persists. It does not show up in the list of installed updates in Programs & Features. Can you help ? |

| Win 7 x64 Home Premium (and x86 VirtualBox VM) 7,523 posts Wales - probably in the pub | Please do NOT use the cleanup utility - it is known to break things! (which is why MS withdrew it) Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data. |

| Windows 7 Ultimate 35 posts | Here's the solution that worked for me - the 3step procedure detailed at http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2007914 After rebooting I suddenly had 43 new security updates to download !! |
