That's two of these in 24 hours - after none for months!
A couple of questions, before we start trying to fix it.
    1) Have you had any problems with malware recently? - and is your Anti-Virus up-to-date? (which one is it?)
    2) When did Updates start failing? (check the Windows Update History log)

Please first follow the instructions in Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data - it should give me the data I need to create a fix protocol.

You have some fairly major corruption present
It may be quicker/better to attempt a repair install, than to try fixing the known errors - especially if your AV has quit, as it may mean that you are already infected.

    let's start with the basics.
What other Antivirus has EVER been installed on this machine? - including the trial version installed by the manufacturer?

Before we start attempting to fix the problems, we should check that the disk itself is ok...

Please run a full CHKDSK ....

Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.

    At the Command prompt, type

    CHKDSK C: /R

    and hit the Enter key.
You will be told that the drive is locked,
and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, press Enter, and then reboot.

The CHKDSK will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient!

After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) -

Once you're back in Windows, please open the Event Viewer
Navigate in the left pane to the Windows Logs, Application
Now look in the event list for an event from the Wininit source - this will contain the results of your CHKDSK scan
double-click on the entry, and click on the Copy button in the window that will pop up,
Paste the result to your reply.

You have a hardware problem with the hard drive.
    89064 KB in bad sectors.
This means that you have over 2000 bad sectors (in addition to the manufacturer's 'buffer' supply) on the hard drive, and it's only going to get worse.

I recommend that you back up your data to external storage, and prepare yourself to replace the hard drive.

    Yes
Your current drive is very badly damaged, and could die at any time.
Before that happens you need to copy all your data to external media for safe-keeping.
You can than take your machine to a reputable repair shop for replacement of the hard drive, and reinstallation of the Operating System.
