Holy crap!
Question for you pros. with this many errors wouldn't it be quicker to back data and do a clean install or repair install?

@Parman, definitely. With such a widescale problem a repair install is your best bet because it's highly likely that there are underlying problems on the computer, that may have caused this.

With 12126 errors to fix, unfortunately it's very unrealistic to consider doing these manually so I think the best way forward is for you to do a repair install:

Thank you.
It's gonna be a few days though. Windows want me to remove iTunes before I can do anything, so I have to backup my music.
I tried what it says here but it did not make any difference.

Edit: I just realised I could rename the music folder and keep it safe that way... Onwards to repair!

I am beginning to think it hates me.

Following the instructions in Tom's link I get to step 13. Right as it gets to the Gathering files part it stops and commands me to restart everything. It also advices me to do what I already did in step 9.

Maybe fire will cleanse it?

Hi Frondar,

Fire would definitely stop the updates problem! But then again, it would probably stop your computer from turning on so perhaps it's not best after all.

It a repair install failed, then a clean install is probably your best bet I'm afraid:

I'm not trying to sound harsh, but Maybe this will show you why backups are very important. After you get your PC back to where you want it create a backup plan. A lot of users use macrium refelct free edition to make images of there machine. I do this, I create an image every night that is kept for 1 week. If i mess something up today i can always go back to tomorrow.
