Unable to check for updates, error 0x800b0100
I've been getting "TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE 0x800b0100" errors in logs when trying to check for updates. Could someone help me out with this? Thanks.

WUA 7.6.7600.256 is a bit of a pain to find, it's a bit of a funny update and isn't hosted under the conventional fashion, instead we get a lovely 404:

I don't know why, but Microsoft didn't release a standalone installer for 7.6.7600.256. Instead, they bundled it in here:

An update for Windows Server Update Services 3.0 Service Pack 2 is available

After going quite deep into those archives, you will find this archive:

WUSSetup.msp\PCW_CAB_SUS\f_7d330e57.BE2E96D2_4460_4371_84DE_4148273456C7\AU\x64\Vista

Which contains these cabinet files:

That was sneaky!

Please post the new CheckSUR log so we can see it - please also run another SFC /SCANNOW and post the new CBS.log.
