Cannot import C:\Users\Tina\Desktop\regwowfix.reg: Error accessing the registry.

I half-expected that, but it was worth a try.
OK - we'll have to take ownership of the Key and change the permissions.....

Open Regedit and navigate to the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA}
Key

Export it to a reg file for safety!
Right-click on the key name, and Select Permissions,
Click on Advanced, then the Owner tab
Highlight the Admnistrators entry in the list, and put a tick in the 'Replace owner...' box at the bottom
Click OK once
Highlight the Admnistrators entry in the 'Groups or Usernames' list, and give them Full permissions
Click OK out, and close Regedit

Now try the Merge again, by right-clicking on the .reg file

Also if this is now fixed, is there something I did that I can be aware of and not do it again? What do I do with the exported reg from before the fix?

You can delete the exported .reg file, and the one you saved.

I'm not sure what causes the loss of these registry entries - but I have my suspicions that it may be something to do with overzealous AV programs (Norton/McAfee??)

The other suspect (although not in this case, from the way it failed) is registry cleaners of some kind.
NEVER use a registry cleaner, they are all snake-oil, and more likely to create problems than solve them.
