Noel if you got any new solution , please help me
something strange happened after i Manual Install NET 4.5
Appear Icon Notification New Update are Available but when i check for update , that Error still there
Here's The Pic ...
Please run the following commands in an Elevated Command Prompt
NET STOP CRYPTSVC
REN C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CATROOT2 CATROOT2OLD
NET START CRYPTSVC
once complete, leave the system alone for at least an hour to rebuild the database, then reboot.
Note that this may delete your Update History - but all updates will remain installed, and can be viewed in the Installed Updates listing.
reboot again, then do a manual check for updates
ok i will try that tomorrow , btw there's solution you tell me before, try uninstall KIS and use the kavremover tools, i only uninstall KIS and check for updates not use the tools that not help, we must use the tools ? there's any difference when we use that tools and normally uninstall ?
You must use the tools to remove the dregs of the AV (even after a normal uninstall), or the system may be in an unstable state. This problem is particularly bad with some AV's - but exists with all of them.
ok i already try using kavremover (Kaspersky Remover Tools) still no use too , now i will try that "Elevated Command Prompt" one
NET STOP CRYPTSVC
REN C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CATROOT2 CATROOT2OLD
NET START CRYPTSVC
before that i want ask if i run this command i must connect to internet or not ? Thanks
No- the NET command is simply a command to the services manager to execute the following actions.
Please run the following commands and post the results...
DIR C:\Windows\System32\Catroot2
ICACLS C:\Windows\System32
Here's the result Noel :)
