    KB2670838, platform update

I have the same problem with DELL XPS 8300 and windows 7 x64. The affected video card is AMD Radeon 6450. Looks like all the PC's or laptops using AMD Radeon video card have one problem or another with this update. In my case WMP and WMC fail when trying to play MP4's, also IE9 had several intermittent problems restarting continuosly on specific web pages.
After removing KB2670838 all my problems went away.
I will not reinstall KB2670838 nor IE10 until MS and AMD come up with a fix for the incompatibility of KB2670838 with the AMD video drivers.
My other PC and Laptop are using NVIDIA and do not show this problem when KB2670838 and IE10 are installed.
On the other end I also hear that the same windows update is causing other problems on Firefox and Google Chrome, so I will no reinstall it till MS and AMD fix their bugs.

It's quite tricky indeed... In one machine with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 works good, but in another PC with a HD 4350 Firefox gets problems rendering text and images... I hope either MS or AMD fixes this...
