Tried many things, still error 800736B3

I've run the System file checker and that didn't find anything, I fully reset the windows update service to where it says I've never updated. I've tried the Readniss update tool and I'm repairing .Net now. Any suggestions? Whats the next step?

..and the SFC and CheckSUR scans?
There's no evidence that either have been run.

..thats what i meant by System File Checker (SFC) and "I've tried the Readiness Update Tool" (System Update Readiness Tool, little dyslexia there) but here ya go.

I ran the Readiness Update Tool over the weekend and I guess it closed its self out. That was about the 5th time I ran it.

Please repost the entire CBS folder - it should have more files in it than it did.

Nope thats it. I followed those instructions and would have no reason to exclude anything.

The CheckSUR reports are present in your screenshot - they aren't in your upload, which is identical to the earlier one.
Please copy the C:\Windows\Logs CBS folder to your desktop overwriting the existing one, then zip it and upload it

    Hi Drip50291 and Noel.

I too have had the same problems as you have had, i too have tried all the suggestions to no avail.

It is curious that Windows updater will instal certain updates. eg MS Office, MS Defender and some others.

I have also noticed niggling problems with my windows installation

Control Panel buttons - don't work, i have to right click mouse to open context menu, from there i click open.

I see from the above that u require all kinds of info. Will comply with what you need, i am hoping though that i can just use the info that is provided to Drip. in order to fix my prob. if this doesn't work than i will post more precise problem info for you.

    Danny
