Sorry, restructured my Dropbox thinking that none of the scripts were still pending use, looks like I was wrong. Here's the correct link:

Hi XYZ1234,

Try uninstalling IE9 by following these tutorials:

How do I install or uninstall Internet Explorer 9?

Then reboot, and reinstall IE9. Reboot then try and install IE10 again

I'd rather not do that. I hadthe same problem two years ago with IE9. I had to reinstall Windows to be able to upgrade from IE8 to IE9. If I uninstall IE9, I will be left with IE8. Which may not be such a bad thing since I can just stop using IE, whatever version.

We've had quite a few 9C59s come through over the past few months and I've seen quite a few fixed by stripping the computer back down to IE8 and installing the updates again so I still think it's the best thing to try next, but if you're happy to put up with this error then you can just ignore it

IE10 won't install and now IE9 won't either
We have a Windows 7 x86 box that won't install IE10, first via automatic updates, then through manual install. I took over the problem and removed IE10 in Windows Features, only to discover I was left with no IE at all. I attempted to reinstall 9, but got a message that a later version was...
