windows explorer has stopped - when i click control panel

    windows explorer has stopped - when i click control panel


    i am having 2 big issues from today afternoon,

    1. when i click on the control panel or right click on the computer to get computer property, am getting "Windows explorer has stopped" error and i can't open the control planel.

    2. windows update icon - i can see it in usual, but when i focus it, it disappear. also, i can see lot of icons in the icon place. the number of icons is getting increase.... pls refer the attached files.

    is this virus? or windows update issue? pls suggest to fix the both issues

    Hi,

    Please try this:

    1. Click Start
    2. In the search box, type cmd
    3. In the list that appears, right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as administrator
    4. In the command window that opens, type sfc /scannow and hit enter.

    Report the output of the cmd window once it finishes.

    Thanks for the reply. i have downloaded and started the process. still its in-progressing.

    when i started, i got one error message, i clicked the "continue" option. now its on-going. [i have attached a screen-shot of the error message]

    once its done, i will let you know the result.

    i have attached one more screenshot [frequently_getting.png]. am getting the alert message frequently in my machine.

    Dear Golden,

    regarding SF Diagnostic Tool, still its running [more than 2 hours]. is this normal ?

    regarding systeminfo.exe, i have run and update the information. after complete the information update, i closed the tool, i got a error message. i have attached the error's screenshot as attachment.
