Same 8 Windows updates keep popping up

Hey guys! I've had this problem going for some time now! Tried a ton of different things I've research and nothing has seemed to work.

My problem is that I get 8 Windows updates, that after I install and restart, are there again. I don't get any error messages or anything, and looks as if they install properly, but there they are once again after a reboot or sometimes even before a reboot.

    These are the 8:

All are security updates for Framework 4 and here are the KB's

    KB2604121
    KB2656351
    KB2729449
    KB2736428
    KB2737019
    KB2742595
    KB2789642
    KB2600217

Thank you to anyone willing to try to sort this out with me!

Can you 'hide' them (right click on them}.

Yes, but since they are security updates. Don't I want to install them?

I thought they were already installed.

No, what I meant by it seems like they are installing is that no errors or anything pop up saying they didnt. I restart the computer, and they're back and ready to be installed again.

As long as they are not installed, they will come back. Only way I know to get rid of them is to hide them. You can always unhide them another day and try to install them then.

Sometimes it helps to install them one by one. Have you tried that.

Yes, I've tried installing them one by one. So, you don't have any other advice than hide them? That doesn't make much sense, I need my security updates, and I'm sure they were put out for a reason.

And trying them a different day doesn't help, they've been tried at shutdown once a day for the last 6 months or so..

    Can anyone else help?

Sorry, maybe someone else has a better idea.

With other updates, it is often a problem with missing prerequisite updates. But with security updates that is a slimm possibility.

The best way to deal with such problems is to uninstall the .NET 4 Framework, and run the cleanup tool, then reinstall and update it.
