    On a Microsoft network, you can use a Microsoft server to control and deploy MS updates. How do you control and deploy non-microsoft updates?

    Yes, you can do it on Windows Server Update Services or SCCM using a separate tool called the Updates Publisher:
    Download System Center Updates Publisher 2011 from Official Microsoft Download Center
