Click on the Go Advanced button under the Message box on the forum. Click on the Manage Attachments click on the Browse button on the pop up window. Locate the cbs.log file click on Upload once you locate the log . Close the pop up window once that file has been uploaded. Post the upload with the reply.

Are you logged in with administrator rights account ? Guest doesn't have rights

Yes, I'm in my main account. I have two. Mom and Guest. When VistaKing had me run one of the other checks it said I have 3. admin, mom and guest. I don't see admin.

Go to C:\Users double click on Computer icon on the desktop if present if not click on button then in the Start Menu click on Computer on the right side . Once the Computer window opens up double click on the C:\ drive and then double click on the Users folder .

I don't know if this is of any significance, but the date modified for Administrator is about the same date my teenager got hold of my laptop and I started having all these crazy problems.

We could disable the Administrator account

Click on type CMD inside Search programs and files . When CMD comes up under Programs (1) right click on CMD and choose Run as administrator . On the next window User Access Control click on the Yes button or press Alt and Y keys on your keyboard . When command prompt opens up the path will be C:\Windows\System32>_

Type the command below

net user administrator /active:no
press <ENTER>

Should get " The command Completed successfully "

If you type in

net user mom


Does it tell you if you're in administrators group

If the top command won't show try this command below

net localgroup administrators
Press <ENTER>

Do you see mom under neath ?
