    Update Repeat

From and inclusive 15th May to 23rd May I have had eight updates of KB2310138 but all the definitions have been different.Am I correct in assuming this is the same part of MSE being changed to improve security or could there be a fault.Had a similar spate of updates for the same designation a few weeks ago and sent a enquiry to the Microsoft forum and one of their moderators sent me a check list so long it would have taken me countless hours to find so I gave up in despair.Must emphasise that all the definitions have been different, both the previous and present batch.Could someone also tell me which part of MSE KB2310138 applies to.

Yea, the MSE definition updates use the same KB number, but each update is a new version of the definitions file for the latest security.

Thank you for your explicit and quick reply which is in sharp contrast to the mumbo jumbo reply I received from the moderator in the Microsoft forum.

    You're most welcome!:)

I've set up a task to update definitions every few hours and that adds a LOT of entries to the WU History...
I wish these updates could be excluded from WU history, but I don't believe that's possible.
