Much corruption. Even in microsoft windows search database
The content index catalog is corrupt. (HRESULT : 0xc0041801) (0xc0041801)
This is probably because some of the data disks have been modified after the backup has been recorded. And that database was successfully restored due to events later on

You have an western digital or seagate disk?
I have 3 RAID1 arrays: first is with WD 1 Tb disks on in-board Intel controller, second and third are with pair of WD 0,5 Tb disks on external Adaptec controller.
First RAID1 is used for the system.
All arrays and disks have been checked with special tools and seems to be ok.

Can you revert the changes using system restore? So go back in time when all was fine. Post back results.
After that only apply a few updates, reboot. If all is fine, try a few other updates.

There is no System Restore in my version as it is described in "How to Do a System Restore in Windows 7" option 2. So I had to make restore of the full system from a backup, but the one where I have already installed all of the updates.
The strange thing is that some time the system works properly and then it will again suddenly stop working as described in the beginning. It seems that the error needs time to propagate throught the system.

Quote:
I think is in some kind of sysprep phase. Not sure though.
Look in Windows 7 Installation - Transfer to a New Computer but don't do it! Some screens form tutorial appear after reboot?
After the restore during startup the system did not show any of the signs of sysprep phase.

After having SUR launched I found tha CheckSUR.log is the same, sfc /scannow find no integrity violations, server Roles and Featurres are ok, Windows Activation is Genuine, no errors in the evens concerning Server Manager.

The errors in the events were again with search index (recovered later), Applications and System (see attached).

Now I'm trying to delete some of the updates while system is working.

Interestingly there was a specific IE10 update packages installed called c.a. Microsoft-Windows-IE-Hyphenation-Package and Microsoft-Windows-IE-Spelling-Package. I've deleted them and IE10 and a bunch of other updates retrospectively.

By now the system seems to be stable though I don't believe it is okay as it was always like that -- one day of normal work and then something happens that destine the system to crush after reboot.

Is there anyway I can provoke the system? Other than multiple rebooting.

Hi, I've had this update error going on for a few months. Eventually I ended up hiding the update, but whenever new updates are available it re-includes itself. When that happens, it ends up making the new updates fail and I have to delete my catroot directory in order for the updates to work. ...

I have a Dell laptop running Win 7 Pro SP1 with MS updates current thru 5/31/2013. When I run Update I get an Error Code 80073712. Checking on this code, it seems to be related to a corrupt Registry (most likely in my case), so a Repair Install seems to be indicated. Everything else is working...
