Windows 7 says its not Genuine.

Hello Every one, so i am sitting here playing Borderland 2, and my Desktop Changes to ALL BLACK, saying my Windows 7 is not GENUINE. WTH.
My Windows 7 has been Genuine since 2009, i recently did an upgrade and was able to Activate my Copy of Windows 7, I even have the Original activation Key,

I have tried Verifying my Windows 7 Via on line, NO GO, i even downloaded the windows activation update, NO GO, i even tried using the original windows 7 Key, NO GO.

I believe something got corrupted? . how do i get my copy of Windows 7 to be Genuine again?

Thanks in advance.

You have a Blocked Key.
This is unusual, because it's not the normal CID for such Keys.
Here's my normal post for this situation....
Quote:
The Key in use is an MSDN Key from a not-for-resale MSDN account.
Unless you are an MSDN subscriber, you are not entitled to use the Key and whoever sold it to you was not entitled to do so.
You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key (all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)

Please read the following posts.... .................................

and

http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinewindows7/thread/309bb621-92d5-43d6-98c1-2bb51b35607f

The pirates have got VERY good at this over the past few years, as the price of equipment for manufacturing the packages drops, and as factories open in less well-policed countries.

Also - have a look at this video....

You may be able to get a complimentary copy of the OS from Microsoft - fill in the Counterfeit report here...
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/howtotell/default.aspx

Where did you acquire this license? - it may be worth phoning MS to see what they have to say about it, and why it's been blocked.

Installed from 'Compliance Checked Product' media.

I Originally got the License From Microsoft back in 2009, i wonder why all of a sudden it would be blocked after 4 years ? .

I am in the UK, Is there a Toll Free Number to call Microsoft ?

Thanks in advance

Hello again, well after much searching on the internet i think i have solved my problem, but for how long i have not idea. i while back i upgraded my HDD

Looking to Upgrade to a New SSD

i was able to re activate my Genuine Windows 7 i purchased From Microsoft.

than i ran into this post

Windows 7 NOT Genuine Error Message

the last couple of post seem to be similar to my issue.

i then found another post ..... See Attachment,

i then ran the SLMGR.VBS / DLV command and my Windows 7 went back to being GENUINE.

I still have my HDD as a 2nd DATA drive in my System. is there a possible OS conflict between the SSD and the HDD ?

Thanks in adavance.

PS. i could not find a valid UK Microsoft Activation Phone number. i would like to make sure my OS is actually VALID.

Post a new MGADiag report - the original one certainly shows as being non-valid.
