Service Pack 1 Windows Update Error 800B0100 Help!

Hey everyone! I'm in need of some desperate help. It just came to my attention that all of this time, Service Pack 1 has never installed. I've tried most of the common fixes from various posts on this topic such as the Windows Update repair tools and even Tweaking.com's Windows Repair tool and nothing seems to work. I would like to see if someone can help me work on the problem people have with the "Manifests" folder. If someone could give me some assistance it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to get a DBMS for SQL and need SP1.

I have attached my CBS folder for diagnosis
Let me know what other files you need me to provide for diagnosis and i'll certainly provide them!

    Thanks

SFC appears to have found nothing amiss - yet.

I'll work up a fix protocol and post it later today.

    I've uploaded a file - ghdaa.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder ghdaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Then run another SFC /SCANNOW, and post the new CBS.log file

Hey Noel, thanks for the reply! I'll give this a go now and post my results here in a bit.

    EDIT:
I have attached my new CBS folder. I had to run CheckSUR before the CheckSur folder woulds how up in temp. However, after I ran it once, I then placed the contents of "Packages" into the folder and ran it again. These are now my current logs in the CBS folder. Going to run SFC /SCANNOW again.

Also. Those checkSUR errors seem to include amd64. I just want to state that I am using an chipset and intel processor. Not sure if this makes any difference or even if it's relating to an AMD chipset/processor at all for that matter.

    Results from: SFC /SCANNOW

"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

Here, again, are the CBS files after the scan:

EDIT: I am still receiving the update error.

MS has three 'flavours' of Windows 7 - Intel (x86) amd64 (x64) and Itanium (i64) - this relates to the underlying architecture, rather than the manufacturer, so Intel and AMD 64-bit processors both use the amd64 software (and the Intel stuff!)

As it happens, I gave you the wrong set of files - for IE10, rather than IE9. Please delete the ghdaa files/folders.
    It won't affect anything, thankfully.

Back in a few minutes with the right set!

    I've uploaded a file - ghdab.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder ghdab in the same place.

    -AND-
    CBS files after SFC /SCANNOW

EDIT: I now have an important update available "Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redist Package" and I no longer see SP1 listed. Do I install the security update?

Yes, please - do a manual scan for updates first, once it's installed, reboot and do another manual check for updates and see what comes up.

SFC and CheckSUR are showing clear now :)
