It shouldn't be inside a Microsoft sticker . It sticker is usually above the battery or in the middle of the laptop not a a white or orange sticker

Yes but TeamViewer will not help me seeing the bottom of your laptop .

When you bought the laptop did it have Windows Vista on it and then upgrade it to Windows 7 ?

Ok the Microsoft Sticker key will not work for Windows 7 . You would need to use the key you used on your 32-bit version .

I am not seeing any windows 7 drivers for the HP 550 laptop

You could install Windows 7 64-bit but it would be a clean install . Meaning you would have to wipe the hard drive and start from scratch . You can't so an in place upgrade from within Windows

Why do you want to upgrade to 64 Bit?
If you have 4 GB or less of RAM it may not be worth going to 64 Bit.

As you are using Win 7 32 Bit now, the Vista drivers probably work for Win 7.
If you want to try 64 Bit, you could create a System Backup Image of your current 32 Bit system.
Install 64 Bit, and if it doesn't work, restore the 32 Bit backup image.
