Need help, sp1 will not install possibly due to autochk.exe corruption

EDIT: i have ran sfc /scannow, troubleshooter, other various things on the internet that says to do to repair the file, but my cbs log is still coming back with autochk.exe corrupted. tried installing the files from my disk to the computer, still says corrupted. when i try to update to sp1, the error code i get is 0x800f080d. all other updates install just fine. the only ones i have problems with is the sp1 updates. am i doing something wrong or should i get a different copy of windows 7 ultimate? thanks!

Correction: when i opened up the files on the windows 7 disk, they are for the ultimate. i installed the autochk.exe files from the disk to the computer, still the same issue.
