| | Windows update working but not fully Hi, Tried to update windows (windows update) but the status shows some of them were not installed (pending) any idea?  |

| | Does this still appear after you restart? Some updates do not install until the machine is in restart or shutdown mode - getting ready to do one or the other. At that point, it will say something like "Preparing to install updates, please wait." |

| | yes the status is same after restart (many times  )and when i tried to manully install the patch (by downloading it) it says that the update is already installed. I think its a bug.  Last edited by pawan; 18 Oct 2009 at 07:26 PM.. |
