windows cannot find error

i was trying to update my net framework with that but i cant open the windows update. when i try to click windows update it doesnt load anything. when i try to click turn automatic updating on or off the error pops up says "windows cannt find'::{26EE0668-AOOA-44D7-9371-BEBO64C98683}\5\;:{36EEF7DB-88AD-4E81-AD49-0...\pagesetting'. Makesure you tyoed the name correctly, and try again."
