    I think enough time has passed for something to show up in the CBS.log file that we may not have seen before.
    Please post a new copy (just the CBS.log file)
    Have you managed to install this month's updates OK?
    (this would show that the problem is not with WU, but with the IE install)

    The fresh CBS is on my SkyDrive http://sdrv.ms/14ygkaZ

    Yes The system installed all the updates with no problem IE10 is the only exception.
