Is it possibel to use same license of W7 for a dual boot on same box?

I am having problem with my OS - W7 professional. I have a lot of software set up on it. Software runs fine it's the OS that is getting quircky. I want to run a second copy of W7 on a dual boot setup for testing.

Can I set up a dual boot with the same copy of W7 running on the second drive, or will I have a licensing issue when I try to activate the second copy of W7, even though it is running on same CPU?

I can't speak of the problems you might have, but you are legally required to have a separate license for each active copy of Windows 7, even if it is on the same PC.
