    Windows 7 COA

I bought a retail version of windows 7 ultimate 32 and 64 bit orginal halogram disks of ebay on sunday evening and there arrived on tuesday, anyway i had home edition on the hdd so i inserted the 64 bit disk in and did a fresh format on c: drive before installing the ultimate version.
The installtion went ok no issues until i went to activate it, i have tried the activation by phone 3 times and also spoke to a microsoft technican about it who said it could be a pirate copy so i have filled a report with microsoft and ebay where it is sold as i can't active it.
I have installed jellybean and checked the coa key to the one i have received and it is correct

Unless i'm mistaken you can only have 1 key activated at a time cant you?
After all why can't i active it if the key is correct?
The disk have the halogram on the outside and a black insert in the middle of both disk with a date of 2009 on them (no month)

Just looked at another thread on here and a youtube windows 7 fake video and its a fake I have here its seems.
What I can't understand is that the updates are all going on ok - surely there won't if it was fake would there?

romdut you have answered your own question.

You got Windows 7 from ebay.
You have been on the phone with Micorsoft 3 time and it still won't activate.
Your COA is either being used or it is counterfeit.
Just curious, what did you pay for your copy of Windows 7 Ultimate?

Just to confirm your analysis later, please post your MGADiag report....

Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/windows-updates-activation/234159-windows-genuine-activation-issue-posting-instructions.html

Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

Yep - definitely an MSDN-type Key

I see that there's a SLIC table present - did this machine come with Win8 Pro installed? If so you may be able to get Win7 Pro/Ultimate from Samsung as a downgrade.

The reason that you are able to get updates is simple - the system isn't activated and validation assumes that all un-activated machines within the grace period are valid, so WU assumes the same.
Once your 30-day activation grace period runs out, then you will no longer get the (non-security) updates, and the machine will start nagging you.
