Windows 7 suddenly says not genuine, updates not working

    I performed the steps mentioned and updates would not work still. I still had the problems with MS Search and Capi2.
    However, I found a post on the internet with a different link to the same driver you sent me...different date.
    RST_11.6.0.1030_RAID_AHCI_driver_GUI_CLI_2012.10.11.zip
    It installed correctly and seems to have corrected the issue. Updates are working and I was able to reinstall the KB for WGA that had failed previously.

    Noel...you are, without doubt, a gem to the Windows 7 community.

    Interesting - given the age of your motherboard I wouldn't have expected that version to work.
