The system deletes the oldest persist file as required to make space for a new one - which itself is created when the CBS service hits a trigger event (age, file size, or action). Leave them alone

I still haven't see any CheckSUR log - have you run the tool yet?

That's odd, I ran the tool 3 times, and uploaded all 3 cbs files.

Are cbs and CheckSur 2 different things?

I restarted computer after making the 3 scans earlier.
Should I run another scan?

edit : uploaded a new cbs, after restarting

I downloaded, placed into Desktop & ran it.
Hotfix for Windows was successfully downloaded.

Both CheckSUR logs uploaded.

That is surprisingly clear
I'll be back later with a fix - I have to go out.

I installed Microsoft Office Professional, could this be the issue involving those Microsoft Office errors?

I tried my other laptop, everything installed successfully (even IE10).

edit : Seems I was right, I uninstalled Professional and the updates all ran successfully, now the problem lies in IE10.

That sounds very odd to me - it shouldn't cause problems!

I wouldn't know .
I went to Control Panel > Uninstall Program > Uninstall "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010".
Ran Windows Update and to my surprise, all 3 were quickly successful .
