No
Every installation requires a valid license.

No, customer want to install him Windows. I install him trial Windows and warn customer that he has 30 days to buy a license. I think this is lagal, because you can download trial Windows from different oficial sites.

Yes, I am aware of that. I was just clarifying if you need a license to install a trial version of Windows. This is common practice in our country and I also do that sometimes thinking it's perfectly okay.

The only legal trial versions of Windows are those for Enterprise - which are time-limited.
The so-called 'trial installs' done with the default Key are merely a backstop and are not in fact trials at all.

From the License terms for Windows 7....

If properly licensed, you have the right to use the version of the software installed
during the installation process up to the time permitted for activation.

Well, that's something I certainly didn't know. If this is truly the case, then a lot of IT stores and technicians, including me, in this country are violating the agreement.

I guess an alternative would be to install a Linux distro such as The world's most popular free OS | Ubuntu on client machines.

It took a bit of finding - everything is now pointing to Win8 Evaluation downloads - but if you're lucky, you can get it from this link.
