Go ahead with .Nets if hiding some others?

I've chosen to Hide several of this months updates but was wondering if I should go ahead with the two .NET 3.5.1 ? One of them is actually from the August updates I guess, don't know why I missed it then.
I also have one for .NET 4 dated Aug. I do remember hiding a NET 4 because I was thinking about uninstalling it due to something? I'd read about problems with it. I just looked at my list of "Installed Updates" & see that I have 18 of the NET 4 all dated 6/25/13 so now don't know what to do about that.

    Thanx.

The fact that you have 18 .NET 4 updates installed on the same day probably simply means that you only recently installed .NET 4 - and it was the first time the system had a chance to update to current levels.
You should still install all the later updates, if you're going to continue with .NET 4 installed.

.NET 3.5 is part of the operating system - you should install all updates for it.

I'm reviving this. In my 1st post above I stated that I had 18 .NET4 all with install date of 6/25. I just looked there again & now it shows 20 all with install date of 10/12, including one that is still in my 'Hidden' updates!!??

Sorry, lost my train of thought when doorbell rang, meant to back out instead of posting.

I'm wondering how one of the 2 new ones could be installed & yet still be listed in my 'Hidden'?

And why do all .NET4 install dates show as 10/12 instead of different dates like all other updates do?

Many updates are released each month - are you looking at the Installation date, or the release date?? Check the KB numbers involved.

Check Windows Update , and force a Check for Updates- do any of the installed updates appear there?

oops, had a reply all typed & went to add a screenshot but after looking at the dates of my screen shots have decided that I'm more confused than ever so will have to just forget the whole thing for now. It kinda looks like an install was made on 10/12 but I show it as in my hidden on a later date. I'm sorry, must be losing more 'gray matter' than I thought.

By "force a Check for Updates", do you mean go to Updates page & click on the 'Check for Updates' over on the left side of page? and do it while I still have items in Hidden?
