I zip up the log and put the short cut on my desktop and then using the paper clip I post it here. What in the hell I'm I doing wrong.

I removed 7Zip it driving me crazy.
Has anybody used or know anything about WinRAR or any other good zip program.

Noel I can copy and past the big ass log from note pad and remove the post when you have copied it.

I got the original .log file fine- and the zip file just now
I usually have only the native Windows compression tool and WinRAR installed - but recently had to install 7zip to extract files from the Win7 ISO I needed (for German .mui files).. and occasionally since then, I find .zip files which will only apparently open in 7zip. Connected? Dunno, but having needed 7zip once I think I'll keep it handy.

Disk Cleanup not removing system update files/SFC can't fix problems
Disk Cleanup claims it can remove about 9.5 GB of old system update files, but upon running it, nothing happens (and I don't free up any space). This may or may not be related, but I ran SFC and it found problems it couldn't fix. I've attached the logs.

Is it safe to use the Windows 7 Windows update cleanup ? It shows that I have over 5 GB of space that could be cleaned up. I can't remember where I read it but someone said it could take around an hour to clean up. Just wondering if it is a safe thing to do. thank you
