OK - back to the drawing-board then..

You'd better upload a new copy of the COMPONENTS file - it will almost certainly have changed during that process, and I need to work on what's there rather than old stuff.

A very bad thing happened, while browsing through the recovery options from my bootable windows 7 DVD, I found an Image of my C drive and used it to restore. But i didn't realize it a five month old image....so basically I have lost all my files and documents from C drive that I created or stored from that date. So, obviously windows update is working fine but the loss is so big that I cant describe it you. To be honest, I didn't think it would affect my personal files and that's why didn't check the image date properly. Now I am just downloading different file recovery programs and trying to get my files back, but sadly none of them are that good and surprisingly very very slow. For example I used Recuva once and it took 16 hours for a few folders and unexpectedly crashed at 100%..........I have no idea what to do to get my files back.

Unfortunately, I doubt very much that you have any real hope of recovering much of the data.
The restore from an image would have overwritten most of it - and working in windows will over-write more.
Did you have no more recent data backups?

No....that was the only one which was an auto back up Image too, I didn't create it myself. Do u know of any better recovery soft better than Recuva or File recovery Pro ?

I've asked for assistance from a specialist - in the meantime, please do as little as possible with the system.

I would be very surprised indeed if any survived enough to actually play start-to-finish - your best chances would be small files up to say 10MB (but I'm fairly certain that nothing below 4KB will have survived either)
