nvidia update - fails to install

I have tried to install the nvidia update (see the pic),
but It fails at some point of the progress. Also, why doesn't it download the file, because after pressing "install" it doesn't start to download the file, has it done it already? The file is about 245mb. Has my PC downloaded a corrupt download which causes why the setup fails? Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Hello Deepndark,

You might see if you may be able to download the NVIDIA driver directly from NVIDIA at the link below instead. You'll just need to select the model number of your graphics card/chip.

NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search

    Hope this helps, :)

I did this pocess a week ago, but I wasn't able to remove Nvidia PhysX. When I click to uninstall it, nothing happens. All the other Nvidia drivers I was able to uninstall. And I'm a bit sceptic about the new Nvidia drivers, because after I tried it, my PC started to hickup.

Installing the new driver should update this as well.

Yes, but shouldn't I have to uninstall the PsyhX before installing the new Nvidia drivers?

Nope. The new driver will have a newer versions of it included, and will update it as well.

Thanks. I asked about installation about Nvidia drivers on their forum and they said I can choose "clean install" if I choose "Custom Install" - so I did and I successfully installed to the new nvidia 331.65 drivers.
    Cheers!
