Hi Tom
I did this 3 times with the copy paste until I realized it was telling me it was too long.

Hi Tom
I've got to be out a couple of hours. One of my crew had a tree come down on top of his kids swing set and I told him I'd help him remove it. The guy can shave with table saw, but he's afraid of a chain saw. Oh well, a man has got to know his limits. Look at me here. I can build a complete kitchen, from floor up but I can't fix a stupid computer.

Hmm, I was hoping it would reveal a little more about this mystery service, but I guess today isn't my day! The errors that Noel noticed earlier in this thread are still here, so let's hunt these down:
Run ESET Services Repair: http://kb.eset.com/library/ESET/KB%2...icesRepair.exeCode:Error - 11/30/2013 9:52:01 AM | Computer Name = owner | Source = Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler | ID = 413 Description = Task Scheduler service failed to load tasks at service startup. Additional Data: Error Value: 2147942402. Error - 11/30/2013 9:52:12 AM | Computer Name = owner | Source = Service Control Manager | ID = 7026 Description = The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: Null
Then FSS:
Please download Farbar Service Scanner and run it on the computer with the issue.
- Make sure the following options are checked:
- Internet Services
- Windows Firewall
- System Restore
- Security Center
- Windows Update
- Press "Scan".
- It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
- Please copy and paste the log to your reply.
I have written you a batch file to gather the contents of your scheduled tasks folder so I can have a look at them:
Batch File

No worries, I'll still be around. Hope there wasn't too much damage!I've got to be out a couple of hours.
Well I'm completely the opposite - I can fix a stupid computer, but I can't build a complete kitchen I'd give it a shot though.
Well that didn't take that long. The crew will be building Lil John a new play set come spring:). He was getting to big for what he had anyway. A boy needs to climb in and out of.
Back to work. Here's the first part. I didn't know if you wanted that CC Support folder or not so I threw it in. Working on the rest.
Noel: It's a long swim but your welcome in my kitchen anytime.
Designing them is harder than building them. The customer always wants to change something after you get started. Drives you nuts.
Uninstall Express Files and Windows Cleaner. I get a warning from my browser when I try to visit the Express Files website, so it's probably not the safest of tools. Windows Cleaner will probably do more harm than good. If you want a program to clear your temp files now and then, I would recommend CCleaner:
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
But stay away from any 'optimiser' or similar as they tend to do more harm than good.
How's things now?

I'm sending a list (part 1 & 2) of programs I have installed. I don't see Express Files or Windows cleaner? I'm not real fond of ccleaner. I had that installed when I had Vista installed. I don't know what I hit but it wiped out half of my system. I think it had to do with the duplicate files and the registry. Since then I shy away from anything that even mentions the words registry cleaner.
I do have the Advanced system care installed but I don't use it. Actually I saw a lot of stuff I should uninstall cause I don't use it. I do use the Acer "Empowering Technology". It usually cleans out browser crap that IE Tools says it's removed. It does have an optimization tool (express lower left side) but I don't use it either. I put a screen shot of what it looks at. I ran the browser cleaner, then did another Acer screen shot. As you can see it didn't remove much. I try to clean all temp files, cookies, dump the recycle bin, and if it misses any Recently accessed URLs I check that box to. Hit the clear button and viola, it's clean. I run the defrag about once a month.
Do I need to keep any of that stuff I downloaded today? If not I'll send it off to the recycle bin too. I hate a cluttered desktop.
Where do we stand, hmmm, I just opened the Event viewer and there are the same bunch of errors as before. Do you understand why I picked that Avatar? That about says it all.
